Custom Rash Guards

Sublimated rash guards for BJJ, MMA, no-gi and training, made to your design in polyester/spandex or nylon/spandex with flatlock seams and grip hems.

Two grapplers training on a mat

Short answer: Rumbling Fit manufactures custom rash guards for brands, gyms and teams: long or short sleeve, men's, women's and kids' cuts, fully sublimated in your artwork. Standard fabric is polyester/spandex around 180–220 GSM with four-needle flatlock seams and a silicone grip hem. Minimum order is 10 pieces per design, with samples in 7 to 9 days.

What makes a good rash guard

A rash guard has three jobs: protect the skin from mat burn and friction, stay in place through scrambles and inversions, and survive hundreds of washes. Those jobs come down to four details.

  • Fabric with strong recovery. A polyester/spandex or nylon/spandex knit with enough elastane to snap back after being stretched over a shoulder or pulled in a grip.
  • Flat seams. Four-needle flatlock seams sit flat against the skin, so there's no ridge to rub during a long roll.
  • A hem that stays down. A silicone gripper band or elasticated hem stops the rash guard riding up during guard work.
  • Print that's part of the fabric. Sublimation dyes the fiber itself, so the design can't crack or peel.

We build all four into our standard rash guard. Read our rash guard fabric guide for more on fabric choice.

Decoration

Sublimation is the standard for rash guards because it covers every panel, handles unlimited colors and doesn't add any surface layer to rub. Small logos can be added by heat transfer. We don't recommend embroidery on high-stretch rash guard panels because it restricts stretch and can scratch. See sublimation printing.

Sizing and fit

Rash guards should fit tight without restricting movement. Our standard adult range runs XS to 3XL, with women's and kids' ranges. We can grade to your own size chart. The guide how a rash guard should fit explains what to check.

FAQ

Custom Rash Guards: common questions

Polyester/spandex is the most popular for sublimated rash guards: durable, colorfast and good value. Nylon/spandex feels softer and cooler but costs more and needs a different print approach.

Yes. One design is produced in the standard belt-rank colors, often with each rank as its own design for MOQ purposes.

Yes, on a dedicated women's block with a shaped body and adjusted sleeve.
